We were thrilled to receive the Association Media & Publishing’s elite EXTRA Award during the recent EXCEL Awards Gala.

Recognized for taking “bold chances” and for being a “pioneer in the field” by the 2012 EXCEL Awards Chair Leslie McGee, Network Media was awarded for our work with Matrix, the digital membership publication for The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity.
The surprise EXTRA award was in addition to recognition in two categories for our work on AYP, the official membership publication for the Association of YMCA Professionals, and Matrix.
Here’s what the judges had to say about Matrix:
The digital magazine’s unique design features a single-page configuration, instead of a two-page spread – a very effective approach. In addition to its ultra-clean presentation, Matrix creates easy reader engagement through video, links, and brief but compelling stories.
“Network values the creative partnerships we have built with our clients,” said Jen Smith, creative director. “It’s a thrill to be honored for this work accomplished on behalf of our clients. It’s truly the product of great teamwork.”
“I continue to be so proud of the caliber of publications produced by Network and am pleased to see our team honored by the EXCEL Awards. Being recognized as an EXTRA award recipient confirms what I have believed for years — our team works hard to set the bar high in the association space,” said Carrie Hartin, chief operating officer of Network. “We share these awards with our association clients who trust us to deliver excellent work on their behalf.”
